Instant funding

Also called: Direct funding, No-evaluation account, Instant funded account

In short. Instant funding is a funded account sold without an evaluation: the trader pays a higher one-time fee and trades under the firm's drawdown and payout rules from day one. It removes the test, not the rules, and the first payout usually still requires a minimum number of trading days or a profit buffer.

The fee is several times an evaluation's price, because the firm takes the risk of an untested trader. In exchange the clock to the first payout starts immediately. Drawdown is often tighter than on an evaluation of the same size, and the split sometimes starts lower before scaling up.

Instant funding suits a trader with a proven routine who wants to skip the target and the reset cycle. It is an expensive way to learn: a breach costs the whole fee.

The board flags the firms that sell at least one instant account; the cost calculator compares them with the evaluation route at the same size.
